In a deeply personal tribute to Sergeant First Class (res.) Hadar Kapluck z"l, who valiantly fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip, Didea collaborates in honoring a hero whose life story touches the hearts of many. Hadar was not just a soldier; he was a cherished friend, and his untimely passing at just 23 years old left a profound impact on those close to him.
About the project
This project sprang from a profound partnership between myself and my good friend Benny, one of Hadar’s close friends. Together, we embarked on a mission to encapsulate Hadar’s spirit and memories into a design that goes beyond mere aesthetics. Inspired by Hadar's love for drumming, we crafted a beer label that is imbued with elements reflective of his passion and the beats that once moved him, turning each bottle into a narrative of his courage and vibrant spirit.
Key points
The beer, named "My Brother the Hero," not only tells the story of Hadar’s life but also serves as a canvas for the values he embodied. Each label carries the essence of Hadar’s personality and the joy he brought to his friends and family, ensuring his legacy endures through creative expression.
At Didea, we believe in the power of design to tell stories that evoke emotion and provoke thought. This initiative showcases how personal connections and artistic creativity can combine to keep the memory of a loved one alive. The label itself inspires those who lift the bottle to remember Hadar not just with reverence, but with a spirit of joy and camaraderie, echoing the words inscribed upon it: "One should drink with love, humor, and friends."
Through this heartfelt project, we invite others to raise a glass in memory of Hadar, honoring a life that continues to inspire and resonate within the community.
